Privacy Policy
Probashi NRB Care ("ProbashiCare", "we", "our", or "us") operates the Probashi NRB Care mobile application and the website at probashicare.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our services.
By creating an account or using ProbashiCare, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
1. Scope
This policy applies to:
- The Probashi NRB Care Android mobile application (package: com.probashipay.probashinrbcare).
- Our website at probashicare.com, including pre-registration and support pages.
It does not apply to third-party partner websites or services (hospitals, lawyers, cab operators, insurers, training institutes) that operate under their own privacy policies.
2. Information We Collect
A. Account and profile information
When you register and use the app, we may collect:
- Full name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash)
- Phone number, nationality, gender, and date of birth
- National ID (NID) and passport number (for ProbashiCard and identity verification)
- Profile information you choose to provide
B. Service and booking information
Depending on which services you use, we may collect:
- Healthcare: doctor selection, appointment date and time, consultation type, and symptoms or notes you submit.
- Legal: lawyer selection, consultation details, and notes you provide.
- Cab (ProbashiCab): pickup and drop-off addresses, date and time, driver selection, and ride notes (text addresses only — we do not collect GPS location from your device).
- Training: program enrollment and status.
- Insurance: plan browsing and interest requests (full enrollment is not yet available in the app).
- ProbashiCard: membership card application status and related profile data.
C. Device and notification data
- Push notification device token (Firebase Cloud Messaging) when you enable notifications in Settings.
- App version and platform information for compatibility and security updates.
- Authentication tokens stored securely on your device for session management.
D. What we do not collect
- We do not access your device camera, photo library, contacts, or microphone.
- We do not collect precise GPS location from your device.
- We do not process payment card or mobile banking details in the app (v1).
- We do not sell your personal data to advertisers.
3. App permissions
The Probashi NRB Care app requests only the following Android permissions:
- Internet — to communicate with our servers and load service content.
- Network state — to detect connectivity before API requests.
- Notifications — to deliver booking and account updates when you opt in (Android 13+). You can disable this in app Settings.
4. How we use your information
- Create and manage your account.
- Verify your identity and authenticate logins.
- Process and manage service bookings and applications.
- Send transactional notifications (appointments, rides, card status).
- Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- Maintain security, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
- Improve app reliability and user experience.
5. Push notifications
If you enable push notifications, we use Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) to deliver alerts about your bookings, ride updates, ProbashiCard status, and account activity. You can turn notifications off at any time in Settings → Push notifications. When disabled, we deactivate your device token on our servers.
6. How we share information
We share personal data only when necessary to provide the service you requested:
- Healthcare providers and doctors you book with.
- Legal partners you consult with.
- Cab drivers and operators for rides you request.
- Training program providers for enrollments.
- Insurance partners when you submit an interest or request (future enrollment).
- Infrastructure providers that host our API and database (under strict data processing terms).
- Google Firebase for push notification delivery (when enabled).
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
7. Payments
The Probashi NRB Care app (v1) does not process in-app payments. Any future payment features will be handled by authorized payment providers, and this policy will be updated before those features launch.
8. Data security
- All API communication uses HTTPS (TLS encryption in transit).
- Passwords are hashed; we never store plaintext passwords.
- Authentication tokens are stored in secure device storage.
- Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel.
9. Data retention
- Account data is retained while your account is active.
- Booking and service records are retained as needed to provide support and meet legal requirements.
- When you delete your account, personal data is deactivated and scheduled for removal; some records may be retained where required by law.
10. Your rights
You may:
- Access and update your profile information in the app.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Withdraw consent for optional processing (e.g., push notifications).
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Contact us with privacy questions or complaints.
11. Account deletion
You can delete your account in two ways:
- In the app: go to Settings → Delete account, confirm your password, and submit. This immediately deactivates your account, cancels pending bookings, and revokes login sessions.
- By email: contact info.probashinrbcare@gmail.com with the subject "Delete My Account". See our Account Deletion page for details.
12. Children's privacy
ProbashiCare is not intended for users under 13 years of age (or 16 where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
13. International data transfers
Your data may be processed on servers located outside Bangladesh (for example, cloud hosting regions used by our infrastructure providers). We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place with our service providers.
14. Website
Our marketing website provides information about ProbashiCare services. Pre-registration forms on the website may collect name and contact details to notify you about app availability. Website analytics, if added in the future, will be disclosed in an updated version of this policy.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when we add features or when laws change. The latest version will always be available at probashicare.com/en/privacy and linked from the app under Settings → Privacy & security.
